Switch on Your Maths Eyes

October 18, 2017

As part of Maths Week, we are asking the boys to try to figure out 5 Maths puzzles each night.  Unfortunately, due to Storm Ophelia, we will only be able to do it for two nights but we'll give it a go anyway.

We would ask the boys to write the five answers from tonight's puzzles in their maths copies and these answers will be checked in school tomorrow.  There will be a draw at the end of the week to decide on prize winners. Have fun!!!

Question 1: How many hours of business are this restaurant open for this week?

Question 2: If this window was twice as wide, how many vertical fence posts would you see?

Question 3: Who drives this car? Work out the sum of the numbers on the registration plate.

Question 4: Where would you see this tile pattern? How many right angled triangles can you count on the centre panel?

Question 5: How many lights would be on five of these charging ports?
