Junior Infants School Tour!
On the 25th of May the junior infants went on their very first school tour!
Leaving at 9:30, the junior infants were very excited! They got on the bus and went to Drimoleague. They went to none other than Top of the Rock Pod Camp! When they arrived, a man named David Ross gave them a farm tour. They saw sheep, lambs, goats, pigs, cows, calves, ducks, geese and hens. David had a pet dog called Daisy who also led the tour. Later the juniors went on a tractor trailer towed by a tractor with David driving it. David also milked a cow the old-fashioned way by using his hands. Their favourite thing was the maze made from hay bales. They would not leave it!
At 12:00 they had a picnic in the field. Everyone also had a treat in their lunch! When it was time to leave, they stopped at Drimoleague playground for a while! Coming home at 2:00, the juniors' first school tour was a success!
